CITA FCPR1, a € 76 million fund (US$ 70 million)    

CITA FCPR1 is a € 76 million fund, raised in April 2001. The fund is managed by CITA Gestion, which received the official approval from the COB (France’s SEC) on February 20th, 2001. The lifetime of the fund is 8 years.

    Activity of the fund   

   Venture Capital : support the development of start-ups  in  the information  technology and the biotechnology sectors.

   Development Capital : support the growth of companies which have already proven the profitability of their business model.

   Leveraged buy outs (LBO) : support the buy-out of companies by solid management teams, through equity and debt financing. et

Investment by CITA FCPR1 may vary from US$ 1 million to US$ 10 million.

No privileged sector has been set, the essential being the quality of the management team and the company plan. A majority of investments will be devoted to French companies, through minority stakes.
