of the Investment Company in Advanced Technologies (CITA). The purpose of the
company is to develop economic and commercial cooperation between France and
Kuwait. CITA is created on equal terms by major financial institutions of both
countries : Elf, Paribas and IDI for France, KFTCIC (Kuwait Investment
Authority), IBK (Kuwait Investment Authority) and KPC (Kuwait Petroleum
Corporation) for Kuwait. The initial capital of the Paris-based company is FF
100 million.
The first President of CITA is Mr Dominique
de la Martinière.
